After six months apart, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are reportedly back together and happier than ever.
The couple, who have been married for 13 years, spent Christmas and New Year together, holidaying with their kids Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10.
After a week at their country home in upstate New York, the family flew to Canada to spend some quality time on the ski slopes, with Michael sharing some happy snaps from the vacation on his Facebook page.
A source close to the couple confirmed they had saved their marriage and said they “could not be happier” to be back together.
“They have rediscovered how much they love being a family,” the source to The Daily Express newspaper. “As well as taking Dylan and Carys ice-skating and shopping in Manhattan, they have been horse-riding with both children on the Bedford estate and it has been one of those magical Christmas and New Year holidays they will always treasure.”
Michael, 69, and Catherine, 44, announced they had separated in August last year. At the time of the split they had not been photographed together since April and Catherine had stopped wearing her wedding ring.
Throughout their time apart, Michael remained hopeful they would reconcile and repeatedly said he was sure he could win Catherine back.
