Michael Clarke’s own Instagram followers have questioned his latest social media post, where he revealed he regularly feeds his four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee vitamins.
The 39-year-old former cricket star took to Instagram on Thursday, posting a photo of himself transferring vitamin tablets from their jars to a special dispenser, clearly meant for his young daughter.
Michael shares custody of Kelsey Lee with his ex-wife Kyly Clarke.
“Preparing my little girl’s weekly vitamins to keep her happy and healthy (easier said than done) 😂 @chemistwarehouse #wagnervitamins,” Michael wrote, tagging retailer Chemist Warehouse and supplement brand Wagner Vitamins in his caption.
Many of Michael’s fans questioned whether his daughter needs to consume vitamin supplements, with some even suggesting the cricket commentator was taking advantage of Kelsey Lee for the purpose of a paid promotion.
“Do kids really need vitamins? I thought a well-rounded diet was enough?” one fan commented, while another said, “No need for such things just give them proper diet.”
“All she needs is a healthy diet pup,” a fan added, referring to Michael by his nickname. “Not sure giving her truckloads of vitamins from a sponsor would be advised by a GP.”
Others suggested the post was made purely for financial gain.
“He has to look after his sponsors,” one person wrote, while another commented, “When dad gets money from a photo.”
But there was one fan who was on his side, writing: “Doing a fantastic job! Vitamins are essential especially with the lack of nutrition in our food. My kids take vitamins everyday it’s a personal choice. Keep on keeping on and all the best xx”.
Michael also unveiled his new isolation hairdo in the photo, showing off his bleached locks and sharp undercut.
He posted a selfie to his Instagram stories, showing off his new haircut while posing on a bosu ball, mid-workout.

Michael is currently isolating in the Bondi apartment he once shared with his former wife Kyly, before they announced their divorce in February.
The couple, who were married for eight years, secretly split in September last year, with Michael moving into the former couple’s $7 million Bondi apartment – leaving their $12 million Vaucluse family home for Kyly and Kelsey Lee to live in.
“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably,” Michael and Kyly said in a statement in February, when the news was publicly announced.
“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter.”
Rumours are now swirling that Michael is dating PE Nation fashion designer Pip Edwards, who also lives in Bondi, although the pair say their friendship is purely platonic.

During an interview on Kyle and Jackie O earlier this month, Kyly opened up about how she and Michael are handling their post-separation life.
She said their daughter’s health and happiness is their main focus, adding that the pair were still seeing each other “everyday”.
“I mean it’s weird because we basically see each other every day anyway so I don’t even know it feels any different,” Kyly said.
“Kelsey Lee is our priority, so we’re just doing everything that is in her best interest. Her happiness is paramount.”
Kyly has also chosen to keep her last name and will not be reverting back to her maiden name, Boldy.
