Sharing the happy news in a statement on Facebook the 41-year-old Canadian singer wrote, “We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy.”

“He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us. Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words.”

“We’d like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us. As we continue this journey we are greatly comforted by your support and love,” the statement concluded.

The statement comes after Noah’s aunt, nutritionist Daniela Lopilato, revealed to Argentinian journalist Tomas Dente: “The cancer has gone.”

However, Daniela has since taken to Twitter to distance herself from the reports tweeting, “Don’t use my name in the media with information and things that I haven’t said. Noah is doing well and his parents will speak when they want to.”

In November, Michael and his actress wife, who also share soon-to-be one-year-old son Elias, made the heartbreaking announcement their oldest child was ill.

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children,” Michel wrote on his Facebook page.

The tragic news led Michael to pull out of hosting The Brit Awards, which is set to take place in London on February 22nd.

“It was a difficult call but Michael has decided to pull out of hosting the Brit Awards,” a source explained to The Sun.

“Out of respect for Michael the producers gave him as much time as he needed to make the decision, which they completely understood.”

Although he was looking forward to the hosting gig, it’s clear the health of his young son trumps everything.

“He would have put a unique stamp on the night so it’s a real shame, but at the moment his priority is his family.”

“They are exploring other options now about who will take his place and a number of people have thrown their hat in the ring,” the insider explained to the publication.

Michael has chosen not to comment on the report however in October, before his world was turned upside down with Noah’s diagnosis, he took to Instagram to express his excitement.

“Soooo …… ummm …. yeah . I’m frickin’ hosting the @brits !! I’ve got some big shoes to fill,” the Canadian singer mused.

We continue to wish little Noah and the rest of his family all the very best.
