Following reports controversial stars Lisa Oldfield and Athena X Levendi have been dropped from the upcoming second offering of the Real Housewives Of Sydney, MelissaTkautz let slip that at least one other favourite is facing the chop.
“They’re auditioning new people and two to three [of us] are out,” the star told NW, while walking the red carpet for the AACTA Awards.
“I don’t even know if I’ll be back yet! None of us know who’s in or out. All we do know is that filming is set to start in February and that’s it.”
Although from what Melissa tells us, it sounds like she’d be just as happy to give the whole thing a miss!
The star confessed the intensity of the scenes filmed during the first season would often impact her mental health.
“It was so explosive and it did affect me personally,” she admitted. “On a few occasions, I’d go home shaking and thinking, ‘What the hell just happened?’”
When asked if she ever regretted signing up to the show, Melissa said, “For a split second, yeah. But at the end of the day, this is life. I 100 per cent worried [it would damage my career] but being in this industry these are the challenges you take on.
“It was very daunting and it was very scary putting yourself out there – but all I could do was be my honest and true self.”
Well, we hope you’ll be back with the gang, Melissa!
