Australia’s hippest city will get a little bit trendier next month when Melbournites gather up their Dachshund’s for a Teckelrennen – that’s German for sausage dog race.
While Oktoberfest is still a little while away the inaugural event – hosted by Hophaus Bier Bar – is being held to help raise funds for Dachshund Rescue Australia.
Now if you want to take your little stumpy-legged mate to the event but they aren’t the best of runners there is also a best dressed competition – that’s a best dressed sausage dog competition y’all – cue an animal loving ovary explosion!!!
