After 18 years of marriage Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas have filed for divorce.
The pair have amicably decided to split, confirming the news in a joint statement.
“We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together. – Melanie & Antonio”
The long-time Hollywood couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
