A source has revealed to Page Six that Mary-Kate, 29, tied the knot with her fiancé Olivier in an intimate ceremony in Manhattan on Friday evening.
French banker Olivier, who is the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, proposed to the Full House star last year after three years of dating.
The Page Six insider said that there were about 50 guests at the nuptials, and they enjoyed cocktails in the rear garden of the residence before moving indoors for dinner.
The source claims the newlyweds requested guests hand in their mobile phones at the private residence where the ceremony was held.
The happy couple opted for unusual wedding decorations that consisted of “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night,” according to the pal.
It’s believed the duo became engaged last year when Olivier asked for Mary-Kate’s hand in marriage for the second time with a breathtaking 4-carat vintage Cartier diamond ring on a trip to Jamaica.
It’s not just marriage that Mary-Kate will have to learn to adapt to, but she’s also become a stepmum too!
Olivier has two kids from a previous marriage, Julien, 13, and Margo, 11, who are said to be very supportive of their dad’s new wife.
There’s no word yet on the role Mary-Kate’s twin sister Ashley Olsen played in the big day but we’re sure it was super special.
