However, despite parting ways the 36-year-old claims they are still good friends and “there were a hell of a lot of laughs.”
“I’m still in contact with Clare, we’re still friends, we caught up a couple of weeks ago,” said Lachlan.
“I think it is hard when you do form a bond with someone as well to maintain a very close friendship.”
Of the four couples, one is still together, with Zoe and Alex revealing they’re looking to buy a home together were expecting.
Zoe did fall pregnant but suffered a miscarriage, and talking on the program on Tuesday night she said “we can only hope that it will build our love more.”
And of the other four love-searchers taking part in the show is married, one is a wife, but not to the man she walked down the aisle to reach one year ago.
While Michelle and James decided to stay together in the finale, they split soon after the show ended, with Michelle soon marrying her former flame – ex NRL player Rob Worsley.
James is now talking to Roni – as Roni and Michael split during the show – while Michael is still looking for a companion outside the Married At First Sight contestants.
