Mariah Carey is the 2,556th person to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and for the first time in its history she requested that the entire area be covered in a tent.
It was also the first time in history that a celebrity receiving their coveted star was upstaged by their four-year-old!
The Grammy Award-winner was surrounded by her family and friends to mark the exciting occasion and moments into the ceremony her cheeky son, who she shares with ex Nick Cannon, began acting up.
Moroccan, or Roc as she calls him, was totally unimpressed by the event and proceeded to hush the crowd and lie on top of his pop diva mother so photographers were unable to get a photo of the Hero hitmaker.
Ever the professional, Mariah didn’t flinch and she kept on smiling and posing for the cameras, but you could see in her eyes that little Roc can expect a talking to when they get home!

This was the moment that Mariah wished she remembered to bring Roc’s iPad to keep him occupied.
You know that look your mum gives you when you’re embarrassing her, but she can’t tell you off because you’re in public, well Mariah had it down-pat!

Moroccan’s care factor was set permanently at zero during the entire event.
What Roc doesn’t know is that his level of bad behaviour is no match for his mum’s – after all she’s the original diva.
She’s been waiting almost 30 decades for this star, so not even her child’s bad behaviour was going to stop Mariah Carey from basking in the lime-light.
He truly is his mother’s boy. The only thing that seemed to calm him down was some time in the spotlight!
