Onlookers were quick to ask why the MKR judge wasn’t with Clarissa Weerasena, his fiancee and a new mum of his two-month-old daughter Charlee.
But it didn’t take long for passers-by to realise doting dad Manu, 42, was simply enjoying an early meal in Sydney’s Double Bay with his ex-partner Veronica Morshead and their son Jonti, 10, before the first day of the school term.
“There’s no bad blood between them anymore,” says a source.
“They’re good friends for the sake of their son, who they love more than anything,” adds a friend.
“Veronica is still part of Manu’s life because of Jonti. They want him to grow up in a happy, loving environment.”
The former couple were all smiles as they prepped Jonti for his big day, but almost ran late when eager fans asked to have their picture taken with Manu, who happily obliged.
