You will need: sheet of absorbent paper long thin candle thin paint in small bowl brushes (shaving brushes are easy for small children to hold) apron Step 1 Put on apron. Step 2 Draw on absorbent paper using either end of the candle depending on the desired effect. Step 3 Paint over the wax design using a brush and one or more colours. The wax design resists the paint and shows through clearly. Try using crayons instead of candles; black is most effective.
