Nothing beats sitting back at the hairdresser and being pampered. In fact, itโs so relaxing it put Magda Szubanski to sleep!
Makeup-free and with a head full of foils, the beloved comedian, 54, nodded off in her chair as she indulged in a little โme timeโ at a hair salon in South Melbourne.
And who could blame her? Four years after we bade farewell to lovelorn netball enthusiast Sharon Strzelecki in Kath & Kim, Magda is gearing up to make her big TV comeback!
โYou know, youโre busy, youโve got long hours, and it just creeps up on you,โ she jokes. โI blame an impaired part of my brain.โ
With her hilarious new sketch show Open Slather โ also starring former co-star Gina Riley โ set to premiere at the end of this month, the long hours and late nights are taking their toll.
โIโm in the midst of a massive change. I donโt know where itโs heading. Iโm just going to bumble on through,โ she says.
But she wouldnโt have it any other way. โI could not be more excited!โ she tweeted.
