Alongside an adorable selfie posted to Instagram, Zoe Hendrix has revealed that life with her newborn daughter, Harper-Rose, isn’t always easy.
She wrote, “From the moment she was born Harper has filled my heart with joy & laughter. She has also been peeing, pooing and vomiting on me on the regular.”
The 27-year-old added, “I’ve never been so exhausted (mentally & physically) and some moments I think damn I’m doing great, then in the next moment I think I’m not cut out to be the super mum this beautiful girl deserves.”
“I’m sure many mums out there feel me. Why are we so hard on ourselves? My motto now is every day is a new day.”
Judging by the comments shared on the heartfelt post, it’s a sentiment that many mums can share in.
One user wrote, “One foot in front of the other and if you manage to shower by the end of the day it’s been a super hero day!
While another penned, “My baby girl is eight days old and I feel the same way. You’re not alone.”
Zoe, along with husband Alex Garner, welcomed their beautiful and healthy baby girl, Harper-Rose Garner, on November 14.
Speaking with A Current Affair, the loved-up pair revealed that despite the sleepless nights they are seriously smitten with the newborn daughter, Harper-Rose.
“No words can really describe it. Everyone tells you it’s the most amazing thing. But I can’t literally put into words when your child is there and the three of us are finally together and you’ve gone through such a journey,” an overjoyed Alex said.
