Six months ago, Married At First Sight Australia’s KC Osborne welcomed her adorable son, Brooklyn Harmon with her fiancé Blake Spriggs. Now the reality star is gearing up to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.
In an exclusive interview with TV WEEK, KC revealed the family is taking their Mother’s Day plans to Hamilton Island!

(Image: Instagram)“I’m so excited. It’s a meaningful time when you just have your mum,” she began.
“But then I think being a mum just makes it a little bit more special just because you just realize I don’t know how important what a gift it is to be a mum.

“We’re actually off to Hamilton Island [and] leave on Sunday for the week, so I’m really excited for that. [It’s] Brooklyn’s first holiday as well.”
And it seems KC has a future boy band member on her hands as Brooklyn loves to boogie! Despite still being a toddler, the young mum revealed his little “legs go crazy” as he watches her dance.

(Image: Instagram)It is moments like these where KC reminds herself to “stay in the present moment” – with the help of Blake – but there are so many moments the reality star cannot wait for.
“The milestone… You know when they start to walk and they start to talk. When he gets to have little sleepovers with his cousins and hang out,” she told TV WEEK.
“Sports on the weekends and I think just each year you know, different things come with it. I’m trying not to look too far in the future because I tend to say ‘imagine when he’s with his cousin’s having sleepovers’ and Blake’s like ‘yeah, that’s really cute. But you know, you can’t like wish for that you need to stay in the present moment’.”
There is no doubt in our mind that Brooklyn is going to be an incredible kid after KC revealed the heartbreaking story behind it.
“I lost my best friend to COVID in 2020 and his name was Harmon. Harmon was my friend from church and one of the last messages he sent me was just about how I’m going to be an incredible mom one day to a beautiful baby boy, it’s like he knew it was crazy,” she said.
The last holiday the best friends travelled to was Brooklyn and six months after Harmon’s message, KC fell pregnant.
