Unlike many other celebrities, Madonna isn’t usually one to offer backstage meet-and-greets, preferring to let her fans see her in her natural environment (on stage, of course).
However, it seems she’s about to break her own rule, with a very intimate gig that you’re invited to – if you’re willing to pay big, that is.
The Queen of Pop is hosting An Evening of Music, Art, Mischief & Live Performance on December 2 in Miami Beach, Florida – and the gig is open to just 400 people, with a ticket price of a cool $USD5, 000 or about $AUD6,600.
But before you start to think that 400 people doesn’t sound particularly intimate, it’s worth noting that the gig, which is a benefit for her Raising Malawi charity, has a range of ticket options.
According to the Miami Herald, among them is a very exclusive table for 10 with access for four people to a VIP cocktail reception and a mingle session with Madge herself. And it’ll only cost around $AUD200,000!
It’s thought that the show might be similar to the recent Tears of a Clown concert held in Melbourne, which was unique, to say the least. Madonna arrived on stage four hours late, dressed as a clown and riding a toy bicycle and her set was mostly acoustic.
So, one for the hardcore fans, perhaps?
