She kept her fans waiting for one and a half hours in New Zealand but that was nothing compared to Madonna’s Melbourne show with fans accusing her of being almost four hours late.
According to fans tweeting from Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, concert goers were only allowed into the theatre space just before midnight – nearly four hours later than scheduled.
Her Tears of a Clown gig – a mixture of comedy, story-telling and music – was planned to start at 9pm.
Management made a statement saying the evening would be an hour late but at 10 o’clock, fans were still waiting.
Her manager Guy Oseary was then forced to make an appearance at the Forum’s lobby to reveal she may not be onstage until 11:30.
Finally, at 12:30am, she made her way onto the stage.
Her late performance came the same day her ex-husband Guy Ritchie was in High Court in London for a hearing relating to their custody dispute over the future of their 15 year-old son, Rocco.
