In a scene all too familiar to parents with near-teens, Angelina Jolie has had a showdown with her eldest son Maddox – and his argument hit a particularly raw nerve.
We understand the 12-year-old has become “obsessed” with finding his “real family” in his native Cambodia, where Ange found him in an orphanage in 2001.
When he recently grilled his mother and adopted dad Brad Pitt for details about his extended clan, Ange insisted, “We’re your family now.”
This blunt response did not sit well with Maddox. We hear he fired back, “You’re not my real mum!”
