Brad Pitt reportedly cried tears of joy when he was finally reunited with his children for the first time since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.
But Maddox Jolie-Pitt was apparently not around to see them.
Us Weekly reported the 15-year-old refused to attend the emotional visit with his father, leaving Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox to see Brad by themselves.
The visit was reportedly supervised, in accordance with Brad and Angelina’s temporary custody arrangement.

Maddox missed out on a tearful reunion with his dad.
Brad had waited an agonizing 19 days to see his children, and stood patiently by as the children underwent counseling to help them prepare for the emotional impact of the visit.
As a source told Us, “He wanted to make sure the meeting would be most productive for the kids.”
But when the big moment finally came, Maddox – whose altercation with his father reportedly caused Ange to file for divorce – wasn’t there.
Maddox reportedly chose to stay with Angie during the visit.
The source said that Maddox’s snub was him effectively choosing sides, because according to Californian law, the teen is old enough to decide who he wants to live with.
“Maddox is very close to Angie,” the insider says of the mother who adopted her son as a single parent before she fell for Brad. “He doesn’t really see himself as Brad’s son.”
But another source wasn’t quite so tactful: “Maddox never wants to see Brad again,” the source revealed.
Meanwhile Brad and Angelina have reportedly had no contact whatsoever following their split.
According to People, the pair have conducted all communications through their legal teams.
The pair haven’t seen each other since Ange filed for divorce.
Despite reports to the contrary, insiders say that Angelina has not been trying to turn the kids against their father.
“Angelina is not trying to poison the kids against Brad,” the source says.
“She wants them to have a relationship with him once their health and safety is assured.”
Brad has denied having an altercation with Maddox that put his safety at risk at any time.
“They are still working on issues they can’t agree on,” the insider continued.
