The One Direction band member took to Instagram to share an adorable photo with his 4-week-old son, Freddie Reign. The 24-year-old posed shirtless for the black-and-white shot, which he captioned “Lad and Dad.”
Cradling his son, Louis is clearly besotted by his bundle of joy.
Louis and his close friend Briana Jungwirth welcomed Freddie earlier this year on January 21. While fatherhood wasn’t on the cards for the British star, close friends have revealed he couldn’t be happier!
“Louis didn’t expect this, but he’s excited for it now,” an insider told Us Weekly prior to the birth. “He’s become very close friends with Briana this year and now they are looking forward to being parents. He’s definitely going to be there and be a great dad for their baby.”
Louis first took to social media on January 27, sharing the first snap of his baby boy. “Meet my little lad, Freddie,” he captioned the black and white snap.

Meanwhile, the first-time-mum Briana Jungwirth is adoring her new role, also gushing about her new love on social media. Celebrating Valentine’s Day with the number one man in her life, Freddie, the 24-year-old uploaded a sweet snapshot of her little man squeezing her fingers.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better valentine,” she penned.
While the parents are no longer romantically involved, they are both living in Los Angeles to raise their newborn. Eye witnesses have spotted the parents out with Freddie, noticing that they pair looked very happy.
“Although they’re not romantically involved, Louis thinks Briana is a great woman and will be a fabulous mother,” a friend of Louis’ admitted to the MailOnline.
“Louis has been helping Briana financially and is prepared to get stuck in with all the tasks that caring for a baby demands.”
With One Direction on their year-hiatus, the musician can take this time to focus on his best hit to date.
