She left our shores for the bright lights of New York aged 17, but it seems former supermodel Elle Macpherson, 46, is considering a permanent return home to Australia after a string of career and personal setbacks.
The star, who had hoped her turn in US TV drama The Beautiful Life would renew her international profile, is licking her wounds after the show was unceremoniously axed after just two episodes.
To add insult to injury, she looks set to lose a whopping $A3.5 million on the sale of her London house, which she bought from ex-lover Arki Busson following their break-up. He is now happily engaged to actress Uma Thurman.
