Shane Warne’s ex has been bombarded with online insults after she posted a picture on Twitter to promote her new collection.
While spruiking the range online the Bedazzled actress captioned her image: “Going somewhere hot at Easter? Check out our swim collection”. She then added: “Our kids collection is divine too.”
The range, which is sold in Harrods, features animal-print designs and is targeted at girls aged eight and under.
“Triangle and side tie bikinis on little girls is not a good look.. Sorry. Why sexualise them. Let them be children,” one parent wrote on Twitter.
“Bikini’s on little girls?? They should be learning to swim and having fun not being sexy and sunbaking,” tweeted another.
The 48-year-old copped abuse two years ago for a similar range. She was accused of trying to make young girls too sexy.
Hurley’s new range includes an bikini which is marketed as being “great for girls who want to look grown up”. Another animal print design is called the “Mini Cha Cha Bikini”.
Last year, Gwyneth Paltrow came under fire after endorsing a range of bikinis for girls which she sold through her lifestyle website, GOOP. Those bathers sold out after the star endorsed them.
