Much-loved star Lisa McCune shocks friends and fans alike as she divides her time between hot new love Teddy and husband Tim.
Lisa McCune spent last Tuesday morning hand-in-hand with her husband Tim Disney in Melbourne before flying back to Sydney and straight into the arms of her South Pacific co-star Teddy Tahu Rhodes. The two performed to a sell-out crowd at Sydney Opera House that night, just hours after Lisa was spotted at her children’s private school holding hands with Tim after a weekend together.
The couple’s united front at their children’s school in an upmarket Melbourne suburb did little to stop speculation about their marriage after Woman’s Day sensationally revealed Lisa’s steamy relationship with Teddy last week. Lisa and Tim arrived together, with Tim clutching Lisa’s hand as they walked their children, Archer, 11, Oliver, 8, and Remy, 7, into school. Both kept their sunglasses on but were smiling and appeared comfortable in each other’s company.
Just hours later Lisa looked more than comfortable when she took to the stage with Teddy in South Pacific, in which they play lovers and even share a passionate kiss as part of their performance. “The chemistry was simply electric,” says one female fan, who watched Teddy, 46, and Lisa, 41, perform on Tuesday night, just a day after the scandal broke. “It’s strange but riveting watching them, knowing about the affair. I wouldn’t want to be her husband right now!”
Teddy, who is known as the “Brad Pitt of the opera world”, is understood to have separated from his second wife of just three years, US mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, who moves between New York and London and is raising their two-year-old son Teo.
