Lisa Curry is always proud of her children’s achievements and will always post their brightest moments for the world to see.
While her daughter Morgan Gruell has grown up to become a dancer, her son, Jett Kenny, whom she shares with ex husband Grant Kenny, has taken on his family’s Ironman legacy when he isn’t dabbling in reality television or modelling.
Proud mum Lisa reposted two pictures of the 27-year-old Ironman in action at his latest heat in Queensland. What’s more, Jett paid homage to his paternal grandfather, Hayden Kenny, whom the competition is named in honour of.
Most athletes would surely feel anxious competing at a competition named after their elders, but it appears Jett took to the task of performing at the Hayden Kenny Classic with ease.
“My fav boy doing his thing at the Hayden Kenny Classic – nice to be able to compete in honour of your grandfather or fossil as we call him 💙 @jettkenny,” wrote Lisa.
In November, the former Olympian couldn’t be more chuffed to ring in her youngest child and only son’s 27th birthday.
In an Instagram post dedicated to him, ex-Olympian Lisa posted three pictures of Jett, one from their 2021 birthday celebrations and two throwbacks from when he was little.
In the throes of joy, she captioned the post, “My little cutie fav boy in the world is 27 today !! Not so little anymore !! Happy birthday Jett xx I love you xx 🥰❤️ @jettkenny.”
Seeing her son compete at his family’s namesake was undoubtedly a sweet way to round out the year for Lisa, who is preparing to become a grandmother for the third time in 2022.
After Morgan announced the news, she celebrated on Instagram by re-sharing a picture of her daughter’s baby bump.
“I’m so excited !!!!
“I’m going to be a grannie again. 🥰Congratulations to my beautiful baby girl @morgangruell and her beautiful hubby @ryan.gruell 💙💙🌼,” she wrote.
Lisa finessed her post with the caption, “I’m going to be a grannie again,” with blue and pink hearts.
