Lindsay Lohan has addressed rumours of her allegedly violent relationship with Egor Tarabasov after an extremely troubling video of the couple was released to the public.
This comes just days after the police attended Lindsay’s residence and apparently had to force their way into the apartment during another fight between the pair.
“I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love,” the actress confessed to the Mail on Sunday.
“No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry,” she added to the publication.
Her interview comes after disturbing footage of the pair fighting on a beach in Mykonos back in July surfaced.
In the video, Lindsay is seen throwing her Russian boyfriend’s phone out of their vehicle and then attempting to get out of the car.
Her former lover then chases her down.
Egor catches up with her, grabs her and appears to twist her arms behind her back while she struggles to get free, while pleading for him to stop.
She later said of the incident “Egor drank too much and he went crazy.”
The redheaded child star recently got into a very public argument with Egor, which resulted in her screaming for help from her balcony.
“Please, please, please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me,” she was heard saying in the incident, which was also filmed.
