The boys of One Direction are killing it with their solo careers but that doesn’t mean they don’t get nostalgic for the old days.
A mini 1D reunion has sent fans into overdrive when Niall Horan and Liam Payne caught up backstage at KIISS FM’S Wango Tango concert in LA this weekend.
Niall shared a snap of the epic reunion on Twitter and wrote, “Great to see Payno today . Here I am being christened with ‘ the chain’ . Missed ya buddie.”
And the boys are closer than ever.
Liam cheered on Niall as he performed his solo set.
“While Liam wanted to tease his new music coming up, he really wanted to support Niall,” a source told E News.
“You can tell they have remained good friends.”
This gives us all the feels!
Fans haven’t been able to contain their excitement after the mini get-together but they would love to see another One Direction member join the reunion.
It’s not the first time that the former bandmates have been supportive of one another. Shortly after Harry Styles released his first solo single, “Sign of the Times,” Niall and Liam took to Twitter to give their pal a shout out.
“Love it H,” Niall tweeted of the song and Liam added, “proud of you H. Glad you’re getting to do your own thing.”
Let’s hope this Liam and Niall reunion is a sign of times to come and the whole gang reunites asap!
