Lea’s sorrowful Twitter post comes more than two weeks since Cory, 31, was found dead from a heroin and alcohol overdose in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. The couple had been dating for a year.

Lea, 26, also used Twitter to thank her fans for their support, posting a happy picture of herself and Cory by the ocean.

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support,” she wrote.

Lea has avoided the public eye while grieving Cory’s loss, only leaving home to go to a private memorial service, which was also attended by other Glee stars, including Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, Jane Lynch and Ryan Murphy.

20th Century Fox issued a statement saying that Glee’s season-five premiere will be delayed in the wake of the star’s death, and a special tribute will take place in the third episode.

The death of the rising young singer and actor has rocked Hollywood and left fans around the globe heartbroken.

Cory’s Glee co-star, Kevin McHale, earlier today posted a tribute to the performer: “So thankful that I and so many of you got to experience Cory’s overwhelming kindness, humor and talent. There will not be a day that goes by that I won’t miss him. Thank you all for your incredible support and patience.”
