Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter recently celebrated her tenth birthday and as she rings in the milestone, proud dad Larry Birkhead has revealed that the stunning youngster is constantly inundated with modelling and acting offers.
“People call me all the time and say, ‘Can she be in a movie, can she model?’ I didn’t care about it, so I’d say, ‘No, she’s not interested,’” Larry, 43, explained in a new interview with the US Today show.
“She’s just a regular kid. She’s into technology now, and she’s into games and these YouTube videos,” he mused.
When she was six years old, Dannielynn starred in a sentimental Guess campaign, which paid tribute to former Guess girl Anna Nicole. She’s also starred in Celebrity Wife Swap and an E! special called Life After Anna Nicole: The Larry & Dannielynn Story.
Larry says his little girl will stay well away from the spotlight.
But for now, the photographer is shielding his only daughter away from the entertainment industry and giving her a grounded upbringing.
Larry admits he’s “not the best dad” but “I do the best I can with what the situation is.”
“We make the best of it, and I think Dannielynn’s best days are still to come. She’s got such a bright future in front of her, and I try every day to keep a little bit of the memory alive of her mum,” he told the Today show.
“There’s things left unanswered, things that I didn’t get to say to her, and it’s tough when you go to school and you’re filling out the form. It gets me every year. And you have to put ‘deceased’ on her mum’s information,” he added of the fact her mother has passed away.

The beginning of little Dannielynn’s life was shrouded in tragedy. Three days after her birth in the Bahamas, her half-brother Daniel Wayne Smith, who she is named after, passed away from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and methadone.
At just five-months-old, heartbreak struck again when her reality star mother Anna Nicole died from what the authorities called “combined drug intoxication.”
Mystery also surrounded the identity of Dannielynn’s true father. While Anna Nicole claimed it was her then-partner Howard K. Stern, paternity tests revealed Larry was Dannielynn’s biological dad and he was awarded custody.
The pair now live in Louisville, Kentucky.
Just like mum! Dannielynn has an uncanny resemblance to the vivacious reality star, who sadly died in 2007.
