Distance can make the heart grow fonder, but it can also cause a strain on relationships, as Kylie Minogue is said to be at the mercy of.
It’s been reported by The Sun that the pop princess has ended her relationship with London-based magazine executive Paul Solomons, who she’d been seeing for five years.
Kylie and Paul, who hadn’t been pictured together since May 2022, was said to have struggled with the time difference that came with Kylie now living back in Australia, with Paul remaining based in the UK.
A friend told The Sun, “Kylie and Paul really tried to make things work but ultimately the time difference was a killer… Paul couldn’t exactly nip to Melbourne for a long weekend whenever things got strained.”
The source also added, “She and Paul remain friends.

“But, for now, Kylie has a new album to promote, and a world tour to get cracking with… she’s hugely excited about starting this new chapter in her life.”
Kylie was with her magazine exec beau for five years.

“She wants to see more of her family in the times when she isn’t travelling, and so she will use Australia as her base,” a source told UK outlet The Mirror.
Her family all live in Australia, including her parents Carol and Ron, siblings Brendan and Dannii, and her nephew Ethan, Dannii’s son.
But Paul’s family are based in the UK, where he has been the creative director at British GQ and GQ style magazine since 2001.
Paul didn’t relocate to Melbourne alongside Kylie.

It’s fair to say that Kylie, aged 54, has previously been unlucky in love.
Prior to Paul there’s been a string of over lovers that didn’t last the distance.
British actor Joshua Sasse was 20 years Kylie’s junior, but the two feel quickly in love, getting engaged within six months of meeting.
However the relationship lasted only 18 months, with cheating suspicions between Josh and an actress leading Kylie to end the engagement.
