Kylie Minogue has backed out of all upcoming press commitments in Australia, citing illness as the cause for the last-minute cancellation.
A spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday: “She (Kylie) has a throat infection and needs to rest her voice ahead of the performance.”
And while she’ll still perform at her invitation-only Nova Red Room concert later this week, the publication says “all other commitments are believed to have been spiked until further notice.”
The surprise news follows a bizarre interview with journalist Karl Stefanovic, which was broadcast on Sunday night’s edition of 60 Minutes.
Taking to Twitter, viewers slammed the chat as creepy and unprofessional and said the veteran journo’s responses more than missed the mark.
In the interview, the almost 50-year-old pop star admitted that she was “broken as a person” and that she “really did lose herself” following her very public break up with now ex-fiancé, Joshua Sasse.
“I wasn’t so much heartbroken, as (I was) just a bit broken, just as a person,” she told Karl.
“I had just been through a bit of a rotten time and …. I really did lose myself.”

The Today co-host responded by commenting on the icon’s physical appearance.
“Well, you’re doing it very well. I mean, it helps obviously that you’re a hot 50-year-old,” he said.
Kylie was instantly uncomfortable with the comment and awkwardly replied,”Oh, well, thanks. We try, we try.”
There was a long, awkward pause filled by Karl’s chortles.
“I mean, I don’t know what to say to that,” Kylie eventually added.
Karl then proceeded to tell Kylie that she should “stop dating incredibly good-looking d**kheads.”
He ended the interview by presenting a cake and singing happy birthday to a slightly embarrassed looking Kylie.
The cancellation of all upcoming interviews isn’t thought to be linked to the sit-down chat.
