Claims about a young Kylie’s sex life will be featured in a book, entitled Kylie by Sean Smith, alleging the straight-laced Neighbours star may have been more frisky than she portrayed.
Her love affair with Michael Hutchence made headlines in later years but it may not have been the INXS rocker that corrupted ‘our Kylie’, as Paolo Martin insists it was 16-year-old Kylie who made the first move on him ‘to go somewhere more private’ at a house party in Melbourne when he was 18.
Martin says: “We started kissing and I remember I told her my name and she said she was called Kylie. She was fantastic and knew what she was doing. I shut my eyes and let her get on with it.”
He said the pair had sex before being interrupted by one of his friends. Embarrassed and cold, the teens went back inside where Martin claims Kylie burst into tears.
“She was wailing, I asked for her number and that seemed to cheer her up a bit,” he said.
Despite being interested in Kylie and later taking her on a date, Martin says the relationship wasn’t going anywhere. And, even though she went on to be a music industry superstar, he does not regret his decision.
The book’s author, Sean Smith, says: “She has never revealed the identity of her ‘first love’.”
