On the grand finale of X Factor Australia last night, Kylie, 47, and Dannii Minogue, 44, performed together on live TV for the first time in three decades, and in case you wondering – they’ve still got it.
Back in 1986 the duo sang Sisters Doing it for themselves on Young Talent Time which got the whole of Australia talking, and almost 30 years later they did the exact same thing.
Dressed head-to-toe in typical Minogue glamour, the sisters belted out a track from Kylie’s upcoming Christmas album, 100 Degrees.
The girls’ parents were also in the audience watching on proudly.
But even after decades of performance experience the ladies still felt the pressure with pop princess Kylie admitting, “’I was a little nervous.”
While Dannii revealed that seeing fellow judges, Guy Sebastian, Chris Isaak and James Blunt watching her was a tad stressful.
“I got nervous seeing those guys faces there,” she quipped pointing towards the panel.
But it wasn’t just a big night for the Minogue sister with 19-year-old Cyrus Villanueva becoming overwhelmed with emotion as he was announced winner of X Factor 2015.
“I want to thank God for blessing me with the gift of music that I’ve been so blessed to share with you all,” the Wollongong local told the crowd.
He also paid thanked his mentor Chris Isaak who revealed just how “proud” he was of his protégé.
One Direction’s Liam Payne tweeted his support for the Aussie teen too writing, “Yay, Cyrus won. He is truly incredible.”
