He’s in a happy, long-term relationship with Imogen Anthony, 26, but if circumstances ever change, radio star Kyle Sandilands may have a new flame on standby.
Speaking on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, the 45-year-old claims that his pal Karl’s ex, Cassandra Thorburn, was attracted to him.
“Karl told me I’m her hall pass. I laughed and Karl said ‘What are you laughing at? I’m not joking.’ He just came up to me and said here’s my wife and by the way you’re her hall pass,” the shock jock recounted of Karl’s apparent confession.
“How awkward for me! She was looking at me up and down like, ‘hmmm.’ That’s the feeling I got. She was lovely however,” Kyle explained.
It’s not the first time the good pals have joked about it either. Last year, the Today Show host joked that Kyle should have him and Cass over for dinner so his then-wife could “take advantage of you and get it out of her system.”
Karl and Cassandra called time on their 21-year marriage in September.
The pair share three children together 16-year-old Jackson, 11-year-old Ava and 10-year-old River.
