Following months of split rumours, Kyle Sandilands has confirmed he and longtime girlfriend Imogen Anthony, 28, have broken up.
The 48-year-old shock jock announced the news on his KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday morning, revealing the pair had gone their separate ways.
“A lot of people have been hitting us up on social media, a few phone calls, some media enquiries about my relationship status. We haven’t been living with each other for a few months, quite a few months now ” Kyle told listeners.
“Unfortunately, it’s run its course.”

(Image: Getty)“So here we all are in the same boat. You, you’re single and Intern Pete is,” he told his co-host, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson who recently split from her husband Lee.
Speaking to another of his colleagues, Kyle added: “We laughed at you running around trying to look for love in all the wrong places, only to end up sh-t out of luck ourselves.
While Kyle didn’t delve into the details of what caused the split, he continued: “That’s just the way it is. No problems there, but… you know how it is.”
Kyle said the relationship had “run its course”.

In July, Kyle hit back after speculation swirled the pair had gone their separate ways, joking on the Kyle & Jackie show: “Oh no, it’s a terrible day but luckily I have chocolate cake to make it all wash down easier.”
Imogen previously opened up about her and Kyle’s low-key relationship in an interview with news.com.au.
“Social media has a perception of showing you what you want to see … but for us, there is a lot of sitting around doing f***ing nothing,” she said.
“We have quiet nights all the time … that’s all we do is quiet nights, like sitting in front of Netflix where we have shows we watch constantly.”

After 18 years together, we have made the decision to separate. We do so amicably, sharing many incredible memories and remaining best friends,” the KIIS FM presenter confirmed.
“Our focus for this next chapter is of course our wonderful daughter and continuing to provide her love and happiness, together.”
