Kirsten Dunst has opened up about her (very exciting) plans to settle down and start a family in Marie Claire UK’s July 2017 issue.
“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m like, I’ve been working since I was three. It’s time to have babies and chill,” the Hidden Figures actress, 35, told the publication.
Kirsten, who will next appear in Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled alongside Elle Fanning, Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman, explained that her newfound cluckiness stems from spending time with her newborn goddaughter.
“I wasn’t one of those ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born,” the July cover star said. “I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, ‘Where’s Kiki?’ I just love that love. That’s what I want.”
Kirsten’s matter-of-fact comments come just months after her engagement to Friday Night Lights alum Jesse Plemons was first reported by Page Six.
Kirsten and Jesse, 29, who play husband and wife on Fargo, are rumoured to have fallen in love while filming season two of the American comedy series.
Speaking of working with the actress, Jesse has previously said they hit it off instantly.
“It was a gift. I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person, and we’re both actors that just… have fun with the material,” he told FOX411.
We can’t wait to hear more from this sweet couple!
