Congratulations are in order for Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons who have welcomed their first child together — a boy!
A source told People Magazine that the couple are now proud parents to a “healthy baby boy”, adding that “everyone is doing great.”
Representatives for the duo are yet to comment on the happy baby news.
Kirsten, 36, confirmed she was pregnant just three months ago in the autumn/winter 2018 Rodarte lookbook, Women Who Inspire Us.
In a series of images posted on Instagram, the star looked angelic as she cradled her growing baby bump in everything from a floral embroidered tulle gown to an oatmeal-hued coat embellished with a large bow.
Kirsten and Jesse, 30, who play husband and wife on Fargo, began dating in mid-2016 while filming season two of the American comedy series. News of their engagement was then reported in January 2017, when the actress was spotted with what appeared to be an engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards.
Last year, Kirsten opened up about her plans to settle down and start a family in Marie Claire UK’s July 2017 issue.
“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m like, I’ve been working since I was three. It’s time to have babies and chill,” the Spiderman actress told the publication.
She explained that her newfound cluckiness stemmed from spending time with her goddaughter.
“I wasn’t one of those ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born,” she said. “I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, ‘Where’s Kiki?’ I just love that love. That’s what I want.”
A huge congratulations to the happy new family-of-three!
