The reality star has kicked off her book tour in New York at Barnes and Nobles to promote her new tome, Selfish, which is a glossy coffee table book highlighting almost 10-years’ worth of her own snaps.
“I started taking pictures years ago, around 2006, and I kept them, all organized on my computer in folders,” Kim revealed to Harper’s Bazaar.
“We didn’t call them selfies back then. I had no idea what I was saving, just memories, really.
“It took a minute to figure out exactly what order to put them in. First we had it separated by glam selfies, selfies with friends, selfies with sisters, and sexy selfies, but then we decided that it made more sense to do it chronologically.”
Ironically, the star has denied any selfies to be taken during the event. But it is all for the greater good! The restrictions were enforced to keep the long line of fans moving throughout the signing.
Unfortunately some fans camped overnight for the chance to meet the bootylicious star so hopefully the mother-of-one bends the rules for them, especially since the 34-year-old isn’t that great following them in the first place.
This week Kim attended the Met Gala, where Vogue editor Anna Wintour famously banned selfies.
It looks like the star didn’t get the memo as she posted a series of snaps with notable stars like her hubby Kanye, Lady Gaga, JLo and Madonna.
Ahh making the rules, then breaking them – it’s all in a day’s work for the one and only Miss Kardashian West.
