New details are emerging about how Kim Kardashian’s Parisian hold-up ended.
According to E! News, the reality star was finally helped by her good friend and stylist, Simone Harouche. The website claims Simone locked herself in a bathroom downstairs when she heard the ruckus and she frantically texted Kim’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier and Kourtney Kardashian.
After the intruders left, the mother-of-two ran to Simone’s hideout where she helped removed the duct tape that had tied her up. Eventually, the police arrived and Kim gave the authorities an official statement.
Kim’s husband Kanye West is said to feel “helpless” over the incident. “Kanye says that it has been one of the hardest days of his life, that he feels helpless,” a source close to the rapper tells People.
“This is a guy who isn’t used to feeling helpless at all. He’s usually in control. And now he realises that he could have lost her, and there wasn’t a thing he could do about it.”
Although insiders claim Kanye wants to “fly over there and take care of it himself” by tracking down the robbers, for now he needs to be by Kim’s side.
“He wants to find the men who did this to his wife. But he knows that the best place for him to be right now is with Kim. She needs him now. He won’t leave her,” the source explains to People.
“[Kanye] is furious. He feels like she was terrorised. It’s not just that she was robbed; it’s that she was put into a position where she begged for her life, thought she was going to be raped. She was brutalised and manhandled.”
Friends say the mother-of-two is still processing the horrifying incident. “She just bursts into tears every few minutes. She needs to be with someone all the time; she doesn’t want to be alone.”
Meanwhile, the shaken beauty arrived back in the US hours after she was robbed at gunpoint in a luxury apartment in Paris.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star was flanked by security as she made her way back to her Manhattan apartment, which was also heavily guarded.
As the 35-year-old arrived in New York, she was missing her signature Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring given to her by husband Kanye West, sparking talk that it was one of the items that was stolen.
Her security team have been heavily criticized for allowing such a horrifying robbery to take place, but it’s been claimed Kim had sent away her bodyguard shortly before the ordeal.
She reportedly believed she was safe in the apartment, and had sent her main bodyguard Pascal Duvier out to a nightclub with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

According to her rep, the mother-of-two has been left “badly shaken” after the terrifying incident where five masked men dressed as police officers broke into her room, bound and gagged her and stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery and two personal smart phones.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, the concierge allowed the men into the building around 3am, before he was handcuffed and forced to show them to Kim’s room at gunpoint.
Kim is said to have “begged for her life” and told the gunmen she had children at home.
The men stole a jewellery box worth $USD6.7 million, and a ring worth $USD4 million according to initial reports.
She had been in Paris for Paris Fashion Week.
Fans were left stunned when Kanye called a halt to his concert mid-song to say he had a “family emergency” and had to leave immediately.
Her social media posts had been studded with pictures of her wearing expensive bling especially for the event.
Social media experts have said Kim’s flaunting of her jewels on social media could have tempted the thieves.
The star has even been taunted by online trolls over the robbery.
“Stay humble, stop flaunting and you wouldn’t be getting robbed,” said one follower.
Meanwhile Kim’s former bodyguard has said the heist was a “crime waiting to happen.”
Steve Stanulis, who provided security for Kimye during New York Fashion Week and the Met Gala, claims the heist was an inside job.
“This was a crime waiting to happen,” he revealed.
“Kim is lucky to be alive,” he told Page Six.
“I would say it’s either an inside job or publicity stunt,” he sensationally claimed.

“That hotel is so secure, somebody must have tipped them off that she was alone inside, or shown them a way in.”
The bodyguard, who was sacked by Kanye for allegedly getting too close to Kim, said the pair never take their security as seriously as they should.
“When I worked with them, Kanye would ask me to walk 10 feet behind him, which makes it so hard for anyone working their security to do anything if someone lunges at them,” he explained.
“There was numerous times he’d try to ditch his security. He’d jump in a car and tell me to take a taxi,” he said.
