The proud mum announced the arrival on website, writing, โ€œKANYE AND I WELCOME OUR BABY BOY!โ€

โ€œMother and son are doing well,โ€ the message stated.

Although the bub was believed to be due around Christmas Day, he is said to be doing well.

The day earlier, Kim had posted on social media a selfie showing her baby bump, saying, โ€œReady whenever you are lol.โ€

Bub number two will join two-year-old big sister North West, who was born on June 15, 2013.

Although the new arrival hasnโ€™t been named yet, Kim has previously revealed that she liked the name Easton, which is certainly keeping with the compass theme of her growing family.

Kim also shared this sweet photo with the announcement of the birth.

The world is also eagerly anticipating the first photos of Kimyeโ€™s son, after North Westโ€™s debut was made two months after her birth on proud grandma, Kris Jennerโ€™s former talk show.

In true Kardashian style the fashion icon revealed her pregnancy on the familyโ€™s reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians in June.

It hasnโ€™t been an easy road to conception, with Kim being open about her harrowing fertility struggles.

Kimโ€™s pregnancy didnโ€™t stop her from serving up some fierce fashion this year.

โ€œItโ€™s been really emotionalโ€ฆ there are definitely times when I walked out [of the doctorโ€™s office] hysterically crying,โ€ she told Glamour magazine.

Kim even revealed on the show that sheโ€™s been so desperate for a second baby that she and hubby Kanye have been โ€œhaving sex 500 times a day,โ€ โ€“ now thatโ€™s dedication!

Before falling pregnant a frustrated Kim told the cameras, โ€œIโ€™m, like, so over it [trying to conceive]. Like Iโ€™m exhausted, so Iโ€™m sure everyone gets to that point. Iโ€™m like, โ€˜okay, Iโ€™m done.'โ€

Three have become four! North will no doubt be a doting big sister to her baby brother.

But all that work has finally paid off, with the best kind of reward.

Despite the blessing, Kim had a difficult second pregnancy. โ€œI just donโ€™t think pregnancy and me really agree with each other. You know, it was really hard for me to get pregnant so I do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and, at the end of the day, it is a million times worth it,โ€ she told E! News in November.

โ€œIโ€™m really not complaining, Iโ€™m just being honest and being honest about [it]. I hate it. You know, pregnancy is not for me. Iโ€™ve heard stories forever about how amazing pregnancy is from my mum and Kourtney and thatโ€™s just not the case for me, and Iโ€™m not going to sit here and lie and act like itโ€™s the most blissful experience. Itโ€™s awful.โ€

This new baby is only a year younger than his cousin Reign Disick, meaning theyโ€™ll have a close bond just like North and Penelope Disick โ€“ Kourtney Kardashianโ€™s middle child โ€“ who have the exact same age gap!

However, Kim admits the pain is a fair trade off and she loves every second of motherhood.

โ€œI used to enjoy the spotlight. If I had a day off from filming, I didnโ€™t know what to do. Now I enjoy my family time so much, there is this sense of, if it all went away, and I was just a mum, I would love my life,โ€ she mused.

Congratulations Kim and Kanye, enjoy the newest addition to your stylish family!
