Taking to her website, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star thanked her fans and family for their ongoing support during this harrowing time.
“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work.”
The 31-year-old went on to address the 35-year-old former professional athlete’s condition.
“Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure.”
Before concluding, “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé.”
Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashain, Kendall Jenner and Khloe’s best friend Malika all went to Las Vegas to support Lamar and Khloe.
Since waking up from his coma, Lamar has been discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and transported via helicopter to a Los Angeles-area facility.
During all this time, Khloe, who has been making the medical decisions, has remained by Lamar’s side as he continues with his long recovery process.
“You can tell it’s taking a toll on Khloé, but she is staying strong for Lamar,” an insider said to E! News.
While another added, “She goes everywhere with him. If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows.”
It’s believed that since Lamar’s accident, Khloe has put everything in her life on hold, including her relationship with boyfriend James Harden.
Khloe has been a constant support for Lamar, despite the demise of their 2009 marriage.
The former NBA player woke up from his four-day come on Friday.
E! News reported that since waking up, Lamar has spoken to Khloe a few times, saying, “Hey, baby” and “Good morning.”
People confirmed more good news, that the father-of-two began breathing on his own on Sunday, with insiders revealing he is “making fast progress” and can move his arms and legs; however, he is not able to stand up, even with assistance.
“Khloe has been praying a lot, both to herself and out loud to Lamar,” a source previously told People. “She wants him to know that she’s still on his side, and that everyone is praying for him.”
