UPDATED: Shocking new claims have surfaced revealing that Lamar had “virtually every drug imaginable” in his system according to an E! News source.
They added that medical professionals are treating the 35-year-olds case as a non-suicidal drug overdose.
Lamar Odom remains in a critical condition with a grim prognosis, while TMZhave reported that the basketball player has suffered a series of strokes following his medical emergency.
The source told the news website that as a result his kidneys are on dialysis and he could be facing brain damage.
“The long-term effects of his drug use have taken a toll on his body and the binge this time was too much to handle,” a source told E!
Updated reports say that Lamar is still on life support while some of his vital organs are continuing to fail.
The sports star is currently at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas where his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian has remained by his side for hours. She is reportedly “inconsolable”.
Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian were also photographer arriving at the hospital looking grim.
A devastated-looking Kris was seen in front of the building in the early hours of the morning – a telling sign of the seriousness of the situation.
Multiple reports have explained that Lamar was in high-spirits at the brothel but got “bummed” out after receiving a call.
The call reportedly had to do with how he was being portrayed on Keeping up with the Kardashians.
Kris Jenner was spotted at the front of Sunrise Hospital where she was seen looking devastated.
Kim also arrived at Lamar’s bed-side to support her “inconsolable” sister.
Original reports suggested that Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband was airlifted after he was found fighting for his life after “falling into unconsciousness” at Dennis Hoff’s Love Ranch South, a Nevada brothel around an hour from Las Vegas.
The Nye County Sheriff has since revealed that “the airlift of Lamar had to be scratched because his 6’10” (2.08 metre) frame was too big for the chopper. Instead, he was rushed by ambulance to a Las Vegas hospital.”
Woman’s Day understands that this information comes as his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian is preparing to fly from LA to Vegas, flanked by the closest members of her family.
The Sheriff also told TMZ that “the call came in at 3:15 PM for an unresponsive male at the Love Ranch, and paramedics stabilized Lamar during transport to an area hospital.”
An investigation is currently underway.
Sources have admitted that at this point, “it’s not good,” with E! News advising he has not yet regained consciousness and the prognosis does not look good for Lamar, as he remains in “critical” condition and is breathing with the assistance of machines.
Lamar has had a rocky relationship with his father Joe Odom.
Lamar’s estranged father, Joe Odom has broken his silence following the news about his son’s critical condition.
“Somebody drugged my son. There’s no way he’s down there partying crazy like that. No way,” he told Hollywood Life. “I knew something was wrong because I’ve been calling him all day and he hasn’t been answering. I’m depressed right now. This is messed up!”
Joe continues, “What can I do right now? That’s my son. I’m really hurt right now. This is the first time I’m hearing about it. Let’s give this some time. I pray that he will come out of this. I need all his fans to send him well wishes. If Khloé [Kardashian] knows anything about this, please, tell her to call me. We all love Lamar and want him to pull through this.”

Witnesses told the news site that Lamar, 35, had arrived at the brothel on Saturday, where he was seen partying with the girls for days.
“He said he was just trying to get away from people so he could have some time to himself without the pressures of being who he is,” brothel owner, Dennis Hof recalled to Us Magazine.
A source at the Ranch said Lamar had taken a herbal substitute for Viagra.
Lamar was found unconscious on Tuesday afternoon, after someone went into his room to check up on him.
Reportedly, the person, believed to be the brothel’s manager, rolled the former NBA star over and saw “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth.”
Khloe and Lamar wed in 2009 just one month after meeting. After he relapsed with his substance abuse problems and cheated on Khloe, she filed for divorce in December 2013.
It’s been a turbulent year for Lamar, who finally signed his divorce papers to the reality star on July 21.
Just months ago, Khloe candidly revealed that she still loves Lamar but couldn’t work through his issues.
“I love Lamar to death,” she tells American Women’s Health magazine. “He is the love of my life. We had a fantastic marriage. Do I wish he had tried harder? Yes. Do I think that he maybe didn’t have the energy to fight because he was fighting so many other things? Yeah.”
The 31-year-old admitted in April of this year that she will “never, ever not love Lamar.”
“I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” Khloe says.
Though the couple are no longer married, Khloe has continued a relationship with Lamar, an ongoing issue that is played out on her reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
