Kelly, 34 and her husband Tim Witherspoon welcomed their first child, Titan Jewell Witherspoon in November last year. Now four months old, it seems the Destiny’s Child star finally had to show him off.
“My road to my happiness hasn’t been an easy one. It hasn’t been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy,” she told the mag of her whirlwind year that saw her get married, give birth to her son, and lose her mother very suddenly just one month after the birth.
Kelly says that she is remaining strong and positive, “surrounded with so much love,” thanks to friends like Beyoncé and Solange Knowles plus of course her mum’s friends and her family.
Songstress Kelly has also previously shared with fans a lullaby that she wrote especially for the newest member of her family.
“You will always be mummy’s little baby, ”she sings.
Despite her tumultuous year, Kelly said there is still one rock in her life who has stood by her. “My priority is my husband first,” Kelly said. “That’s how the baby got there.”
