Nicole Kidman’s marriage to Keith Urban is on edge as his friends work behind the scenes to break up their one-year union.
With Nicole based in Australia and Keith currently on his world tour, industry insiders say some of Keith’s friends have been working overtime to create cracks in their relationship, bombarding Nicole with reports of her husband’s bad behaviour.
Desperate to try and save his marriage, Keith dashed halfway across the world to Australia to be with his wife for her 40th birthday and repair the new strain on their relationship.
“It’s not a big secret that certain people around Keith have no time for Nicole and never wanted him to marry her,” says a close friend of the star. “Some of his associates have always hated Nic and Keith together and would do anything to break them up.”
Already worried Keith’s weakness for drugs and alcohol will see him fall off the wagon while on tour, Nic was beside herself on hearing reports that the country crooner had gone back to his old ways.
