Drop whatever it is you’re doing, because buzz is a-brewing that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom might have rebooted their relationship just a month after calling it quits!
Yep, the former couple – who dated for more than a year before splitting in March – were spotted celebrating at Jennifer Meyer’s star-studded 40th birthday party at The Peppermint Club in Hollywood on the weekend.
While the pair arrived at the party separately, they were snapped on social media chatting away. They then left the party at the same time.
Hmmm, a lot to catch up on guys?
Sadly not. Indeed, while we’d love nothing more than to see these two reunite, a source tells Us Weekly that although Katy, 32, and Orlando, 40, “did cross paths” they kept things strictly platonic.
“They said hello to each other, but they didn’t hang out,” reveals the source. “It’s pretty clear they are moving on.”
Even so, while a romantic reunion is off the cards for now, the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor has given us hope one could still happen in the future as he’s made it crystal clear that he and Katy are still great friends.
“It’s good,” he says of their split. “We’re all grown-up. She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don’t think anybody cares about what I’m up to. Nor should they. It’s between us. It’s better to set an example for kids and show that break-ups don’t have to be about hate.”
