Evidently, plenty of people care what Katy Perry has to say in 140 character or less.
Over the weekend, Twitter’s very own Twitter account announced songstress Katy Perry as the number one most followed person on the social media platform.
“It’s party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we’re gonna need a really big dance floor,” the official announcement read.
And it wasn’t long before the Queen of Twitter herself began to celebrate the whopping number.
“Dang this is tight,” the Dark Horse hitmaker quipped in response alongside a fitting emoji.
The 31-year-old’s whopping following came in atop runner up Justin Bieber, who made a valiant effort with 83.9 million.
Katy’s infamous industry nemesis Taylor Swift sat 11 million behind the hair chameleon with 79 million, despite joining Twitter a year after.
And although the Kardashians seemingly rule photo sharing app Instagram, they had nothing on Orlando Bloom’s new girlfriend, who almost doubled Kim’s 46.3 million.
So, how exactly did she celebrate the momentous achievement? A party perhaps? A sleepover with all 90 million of her Katy Kats?
The answer is: none of the above.

Sending out a hilarious Tweet, the pop icon revealed the less-than-glamourous way she chose to celebrate.
“Every1 else havin a lit Friday night & I’m here examining the nose pore cleaner strip I just peeled off & I must say, nothing can top this.”
And with that, it’s easy to see why this charismatic artist took out the top spot!
