Katie Holmes is reportedly dating long-time friend and fellow actor Jamie Foxx.
The actress has been single since her high-profile 2012 split from ex-husband, Tom Cruise, but things appear to be heating up with her new beau!
According to Us Weekly, Katie, 36, has been dating Jamie for the past two years, uncovering new photos of the pair holding hands, while playing a little game of footsie!
Mutual friends of the pair couldn’t be happier for the mother-of-one, revealing to the magazine that Jamie is completely taken by the Dawson’s Creek actress, with one insider revealing he calls her ‘my girl’ as in, “My girl is calling.”
“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with. She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom,” the couple’s friend revealed..
Katie was first romantically linked to Jamie back in 2013, after the pair sparked rumours of a romance when they were spotted dancing together at the 4th Annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit.
When the rumours first surfaced, sources revealed to In Touch that they had been “dating for a while” and that Jamie, then 45, often spent time at Katie’s apartment.
“They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance,” the source said.
Jamie denied the dating rumours at the time, telling Entertainment Tonight, “[The rumours] are 100 per cent not true.” A New York hotel staffer claimed to have seen Jamie’s driver drop Katie off at her Chelsea home after the pair spent the night together at a hotel.
Katie has also refuted claims that she has been dating.
“It’s just one of those things where I understand as a public person, you are a public thing,” she revealed to Gossip Cop website.
“But there is a human behind it, and it often gets a little bit confusing and circus-like.”
For Katie, her number one priority has always been her daughter, Suri, who she shares with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
“You do the best you can,” she told People last year.
“Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don’t. Am I enough? Am I doing enough? Have I seen her enough?
“Guess what? You’re not enough, she hasn’t seen you enough, you’re horrible: That’s how it can feel sometimes… I’m learning every day, and I have been since the minute I became a mom.”
While Katie may put Suri first, she hasn’t given up on the idea of finding a special someone.
The star revealed that she “absolutely” still believes in love, adding, “I’m a very loving person. Of course I’m open to finding love again.”
What may have started out as fling looks like it is now a real relationship! We can’t wait to see how this story develops!
