Six-year-old Suri Cruise is set to have a baby brother or sister with Katie Holmes revealing she is “open” to the idea of expanding her family.
The 34-year-old actress, who split from Tom Cruise in June last year, recently graced the cover of Allure magazine and opened up about her future plans.
“I don’t know. I’m open to it,” she told the magazine when asked about having more children. Katie also revealed that she plans to make 2013 a happy year.
“[I want it to be] a peaceful year for a lot of people,” she said. “[I’m hoping] it’s a good year for everyone.”
Following her divorce Katie took some time out to focus on taking care of her daughter.
She made her career return when she took to the stage for her Broadway play Dead Accounts. Despite the show having mixed reviews and eventually being cancelled, Katie says she has no regrets.
“I was open to – well, to whoever wanted me,” she said. “But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage.”
But we may see Katie in a different light this year, as she touched on the rumors that she is preparing for a big life change and hasn’t ruled out becoming a lawyer.
“Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and – we’ll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys,” she said.
