Some view the supposed relationship of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx as the worst-kept secret in Hollywood.
But, despite rumours circulating the pair have secretly tied the knot, Katie has told the New York Times in no uncertain terms she’s NOT married.
“So are you still single, or is there a secret marriage we have to talk about?” the reporter asked, alluding to her supposed relationship with Foxx.
“Nooo, I’m not married,” Holmes replied. “But thank you for asking.”
Katie was speaking to the paper about her upcoming film directorial debut, ‘All We Had’, which she dedicated to daughter Suri.
“It was my first film, and I want her to always know that she’s the inspiration behind everything, and so hopefully it means something as she gets older. Just to let her know how important she is.”
Holmes, 37, has been romantically linked to Foxx, 48, for years but they’ve never confirmed the relationship.
Sources told HollywoodLife.com that confirmation of the relationship won’t be happening anytime soon:
“Katie is in no rush whatsoever to make things with Jamie official,” a source said. “She has no desire to ever be involved again in the kind of circus that was created after she started dating Tom [Cruise], so she’s very happy to keep things on the DL.”
