It will come to no surprise that she is throwing her full support behind Leo for his nomination for Best Actor for his role in The Revenant at this year’s Oscars.
“I do think it probably will be [him],” Kate told BBC News. “I think you can sort of feel it and I think that everyone wants it for him.”
“It would just be amazing.”
But always the loyal friend, the 40-year-old did voice her support for her current Jobs co-star, Michael Fassbender.
“Michael Fassbender has been nominated [for his portrayal of Steve Jobs in the biographical film, Jobs] and, of course, I was his right-hand woman for three months while we were making Steve Jobs and I saw how hard he worked and I think his performance is so extraordinary,” Kate began before deciding her heart was with Leo.
“But I think that, you know, you can sort of feel the temperature – it’s probably going to be Leo’s year.”
And Leo’s always made it clear how he feels about the British beauty telling Entertainment Tonight at this year’s Golden Globes, “She’s my favourite actress in the industry.”
Meanwhile, no word on who the newly-single actor will take to the coveted ceremony but if talk around Tinsletown is anything to go by then Rihanna just might score an invite.
The pair were spotted looking rather cosy at a nightclub in Paris, France, on Sunday night.
No matter what, we expect Kate will be on hand ready to celebrate. Not even an iceberg could come in the way of these two!
