Fans were abuzz with excitement that Kate was expecting following a bunch of photos taken at the Oscars earlier this week.
In the snaps, fellow actresses Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson were pictured excitedly touching Kate’s stomach, fuelling fevered speculation she might be pregnant.
At the time, a source close to the actress insisted that she “is NOT pregnant but was actually letting her friends feel the beautiful fabric of the dress”.
Social media users begged to differ.
“Did Kate Winslet just tell Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson that she’s pregnant or am I just looking into it too much?” one fan tweeted.
Now, a few days later, the 40-year-old actress set the record straight.
When a paparazzo asked her today whether she was expecting, she firmly replied, “I’m 100 per cent NOT”.
Kate is already a mum of three with her eldest, 15-year-old daughter Mia with ex-husband Jim Threapleton, 12-year-old son Joe with second ex-spouse Sam Mendes, and two-year-old son Bear with her current husband Ned Rocknroll.
Kate denied any baby plans while on the set of her new film, Collateral Beauty.
