Karl Stefanovic has stepped out for dinner with his fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough’s parents, and their outing gives an insight into the star’s special bond with his future in-laws.
Taking to Instagram, Jasmine’s mum Cheryl shared a picture of herself and her husband as they enjoyed a seafood dinner with the star at Gambaro’s restaurant in Brisbane.
She captioned the shot: “With 2 of my 3 boys . 💕💕,” adding the hash-tags “#futuresoninlaw #ifhebehaves #hesays.”
Jasmine — a former model-turned-shoe-designer — wasn’t pictured in the cheeky snap but was quick to comment on the upload.
“Awwwwww xxxx,” she wrote alongside the happy family picture.

Last week, the popular Today co-host finally confirmed his engagement to Jasmine.
“When Jasmine came into my life, I had no thoughts of new love or the future, but we are happy and grateful we found each other,” Karl told TheFIX.
“We are yet to work out when we will get married, but probably later this year. We are both very happy.”
After weeks of parading their speculated engagement in the spotlight, the announcement didn’t exactly come as a surprise!
The pair were previously seen flaunting their happy news at the David Jones Autumn/Winter 2018 Collections Launch in Sydney.
All eyes were on the duo, who began dating just five months after the breakdown of Karl’s 21-year marriage, as they packed on the PDA inside the event. Karl could barely contain his joy as he giggled alongside his 34-year-old fiancée and her gal pals, Jasmine’s collaborator Tamie Ingham and presenter Ksenija Lukich.
At this stage, the couple were yet to officially confirm their engagement, however, one look at the sparkling diamond on Jasmine’s left hand seemed confirmation enough of their upcoming wedding.
Smitten! Karl stayed by Jasmine’s side throughout the evening.

Jasmine paired her new bling with an equally luxurious Gucci handbag.
Karl’s ex-wife, Cassandra Thorburn, broke her silence about the rumoured engagement shortly after their first appearance with that ring.
Speaking to Fairfax Media, the 46-year old said the impending union doesn’t register with her “on any level.”
“His engagement doesn’t register with me on any other level,” she told the publication. “I am just focused on helping those affected by the ever-changing landscape of my ex-husband’s life, to navigate it.”
The former couple, who announced their shock separation in September 2016 and were divorced 13 months later, have three children together – Jackson, 18, Ava, 12, and River, 10.
Karl and Cass were married for 21 years.
Karl, too, has opened up about the highly-publicised split, admitting that he didn’t expect to find a new love so quickly.
“I certainly did not expect to meet someone five months after I broke up with my wife,” he told Stellar magazine in a lengthy interview.
“That was not planned, I did not know her before. I met her on a boat in Sydney. We have a really lovely relationship, but it’s got to be slow for a variety of reasons. I’m not going to share too much on that publicly because I don’t think that’s fair on anyone involved.”
He continued: “It was unexpected and lovely, but we’re going to try to keep a level of privacy to how we’re going and what we’re planning, especially considering I have three beautiful children who need to be taken into consideration.”
